Growing Girls!

We went to the perinatal specialists for the last time today.  We have gone twice a month since we found out we were having twins.  Martin and I love the nurses and doctors there (even though they have admitted me to the hospital a few times)
Their technology is amazing.  There is a flat screen TV mounted on the wall so that we can see everything that is going on in the ultrasound.  They give you tons of pictures and spend time measuring all of the babies bones, their breathing, their blood flow and the movement of their diaphragm.  They study everything from their lips to their umbilical cord.  So you get to watch the babies move for at least 30 minutes to an hour.  At today's appointment the doctor told us that both girls have completely swapped positions. This is not expected at this point because there is hardly any room for them to move in my belly, but some how they figured it out. Baby A used to be on my left and now she is on my right.  We have been talking to baby A and calling her Hadley for months..and now we are not sure if Hadley is still Baby A?  Oh well, I guess that is how it goes when you have twins.  I included the last set of ultra sound pictures of the girls.  The next pictures we will post will be when they are born! Next week!

                                                                          36 weeks

Baby A- Hadley 5lbs 12oz...and a little bit of hair:)
Hadley would not show us her face, so we did not get a 3D photo of her.

Baby B- Harper 5 lbs 15oz- A TON of hair..watch out McKenzie we may be able to compete.
We could see her open and close her eyes. She kept sticking out her tongue.  My favorite part was her chunky cheeks and tiny lips.
Her foot is in the top right corner.  Her head is in the top left corner and her arms are by her side.  The squiggly line in front of her left eye is the umbilical cord.
Look at my tongue!!  Martin thinks this picture is freaky looking because her right eye is open and the left side of her face is hidden because of fluid in the photo, but I posted it anyways because I think the tongue is great.

  2. Love the tongue! That is awesome! Though I agree, 3D pics can be a little scary. I CANNOT WAIT TO HAVE NEICES!
