A-Team

We have started (what I like to call) a Sunday TRADITION...the A-Team (Nammy and Grandbobby) come over after church and help me get the week started on the right foot.  Grandbobby does ALL the laundry from the week.  Nammy and I clean the kitchen washed millions of bottles, mop the floors, and make sure there are 10 little girl outfits ready and 5 big girl outfits ready for the week.  They bring lunch and groceries for the week, and of course feed bottles, change diapers and do a lot of "playing" with the girls.  Everyone needs an A-Team.

3 Months Old

What I want to remember about you at 3 months old...

I love this age, I beg you every night to stay this age and size forever.  You are both VERY happy babies, you both just stare and smile at any face you see.  You can both "talk" to us, but Haper you coo and "talk" all the time. Hadley your smile is always from ear to ear.
Your individual personalities are starting to show.  Hadley you are laid back and calm.  Nothing seems to really bother you.  You don't like to nap, you would rather stay up and play with me.  You love to eat, you eat your bottle slowly but seem to enjoy every last drop.
Harper, you keep us on a schedule.  You don't mind "telling" us when you are tiered or hungry.  You eat your bottle quickly and love to be held. 

You both weigh 10 lbs 5oz. You have almost doubled your birth weight.  You both sleep wonderfully.  I have been spoiled with a full night's sleep since 10 weeks old! 
You are both still sleeping in the same crib, and seem to do a great job sleeping through each other's cries.
You are wearing size 0-3 clothes. You have graduated to a size 1 diapers and you are taking 4 ounce bottles.

Daddy has done a great job getting you both dressed for Ms. Maria's house every morning.  He drops you off around 9am and I race out the door from work to pick you up around 3:00 or 3:30.  You girls love Ms. Maria.  She talks to you in Spanish and so now your daddy does too.
You both are mesmerized by fans, and can follow mommy and daddy's face as we talk to you.  I try hard to get you girls to focus on each other's face, but you rarely do.
I bathe you at the same time, and you still just stare at me.  Even though you are not smiling I think you are enjoying your bath.

Your daddy and I love to be the first one to get you out of your crib, it is the best lovin' when we unwrap you from your swaddle and your wrinkly arms sprawl out to stretch.  We snuggle you close as you wiggle your warm body to wake up.
Did I mention that I LOVE this age!!!!!
